I applied in CA after taking ER. Went through process after I received all outstanding payments (PTO, paycheck, severance, COBRA, ESPP), noted reason for departure as Covid Related based Chuck's guidance that $1B Q1 charge was driven by Covid implications. In any event, I applied and then certified for the last several weeks and currently show as "paid", meaning disbursement has been made from EDD to BOA....so I'm guessing approved and not disqualified. Awaiting BOA debit card which I assume will have a couple of weeks on unemployment.
Based this, optimistic that will be receiving unemployment
What was the reason given for the rejection (in Texas)?
I was rejected for benefits in TX (RCDN) and am now in the process of appealing.
Similarly this applies for people taking Oct 31 exit for layoff (LR-OCP). please share if UI benefits are success
