Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

I just checked my position owners Outlook calendar

Lo and behold over 40+ appointments each lasting 10 minutes through out the day on Monday and Tuesday, and and wait for it, the person required to attend shown as attendee who I 'm 99% from the names I see are filling the position. Not even a private appointment!

Talk about a dead give away, no more of these appointments the rest of the week

Reminds me of a similar experience I had of an executive who also didn't mark an appointment on Outlook as "PRIVATE"— we met on a confidential divestiture team and team members in our very first meeting were hearing from people working in the operation that we were charged with selling.

Please learn from these mistakes so they don't reoccur

Also watch for who the other attendees are, like the applicable HR rep. That is usually a dead giveaway to outcomes. This works even if the appointment is private. You can judge outcomes by how private calendar appointments of multiple people line up.

Same! I haven’t heard yet so I checked my owners calendar for tomorrow. He has multiple “private”. Appointments on his calendar. (Although, I’m not one of them). I hope to get one soon.

Sounds like the position owner should be left standing.
