Look at the leaders, they are all B2C while IBM is only B2B and doing it badly.

ibm = a (failed) financial engineering experiment
Creativity by Committee is ineffective. The problem is that iBM is no longer a tech company but rather a profit maximization machine. And it is too big and bureaucratic. And the IBM executives aren't very good.

Nonsense, of course. Where I will agree is that I think there are vastly fewer researchers working on ground-breaking technology – at least in Computer Science.
But that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.
