The Pre-Notification of possible impact was Oct.7th. Or are people getting new notices after the Oct 7th date? Seems to imply that if one is not Pre-Notified then one is safe, or safe until after the Jan 4th layoffs have cleared.

No, 83% of the people whose jobs are at risk had been notified. The rest are in countries where there are legal steps to take before they can tap somebody.

I just don’t see how they can afford the 6 month package offered in the Oct round, going forward. Wondering if they’ll give reduced packages for teams that weren’t hit as hard last round (maybe less technical roles- sales, marketing, customer support etc), or something like that..
Q1 2021 just ended. So expect some cuts once Q1 results are announced, especially if the "numbers" don't beat wall street expectations.
At the last Chuck-out, Fran (PBUH) said that 83% had been notified in 54 countries. Didn’t say if more than that could go. Didn’t say how many in total. Didn’t say if that was it. Didn’t say anything really except she congratulated the ELT for their transparency.
I have heard from close circle VP level friends that a layoff is planned in first half of next yeat probably after March and it will be as big as current one. The packages will be far less also. If someone is smart they should get out right now and move on. I started interviewing not planning to wait till March
Dec 2 is the next one. More heads will be chopped. Chuck the chopper isn't done yet.
