So much theft at self checkouts/scan n go, its crazy how they keep them. But it probably comes out of our bonus so no big deal.

There has to be a reason why upper management allows such rampant theft in the clubs. Clearly it benefits them or the company in some way, but hurts the associates as their clubs shrink out.
I'm surprised that some of you haven't figured out that corporate wants customers to steal—up to a point. They want them to steal just enough that they don't have to pay out bonuses to associates. but not so much that the clubs fail to profit.
I wouldn’t count on your bonuses being gone there is no information on that at this time. Stop the fear mongering we have enough of it with the election going on and Covid.
Our bonus is NOT based on profit. It’s based on sales, membership income and MX voices.
yes it does affect your bonus because part of you bonus is based on profit and when people are stealing that affects the profit of the club. This is the last year of bonuses anyway, with all the large raises and more to come there will be no more bonuses.
I agree. I am a Merchandiser Team Lead and when I am walking the floor sometimes I will find those big boxes of styrofoam cups, where the customer will take out all the cups throw them on the floor or behind product. Then they must be stuffing other products inside those big boxes.
