how many overpaid eyeballs do you need looking at ever-dwindling numbers? span of control in most att business groups is a joke. most 3rd levels and 4th levels don't have anywhere near the norm of direct reports typical in the industry. it's evidently hard to pry them out however, because in times of chaos the top dogs grow ever fearful of creating any more chaos, so status quo inches onward...

The billing group needs a new VP. I hope they get one Jan 1. The AVPs can the be all replaced as well

They are leaving because they accepted a Management Voluntary Offer to Resign (“MVO”). Layoffs will follow, though timing, whether this year or next, is uncertain.
