Thread regarding National Oilwell Varco Inc. layoffs

Lowest moral in history

What a toxic place NOV is to work right now. Nothing to be positive about at all. Management have done a terrible job and they know it. And before someone says ‘you should be thankful you have a job’, don’t waste your time.

For some of us NOV is the best we could ever hope to do. Just because we couldn't afford an higher education doesn't mean we don't need more money to survive. Some of us don't have the luxury to just leave. We are very fortune to still have the jobs yet.

The smart ones got out a long time ago. The not so smart ones are still sitting there whining about management and low morale. Get off your lazy backside and go find a real job.

That's because Napoleon, Chuckie, Pillsbury Doughboy, Keebler Elf or whatever you wanna call him is just bad for the company and it's people. We are looking for a real leader not a BS'r that will never be able to fill the shoes of its predecessor. Needs to go.

The people that are ‘thankful’ are likely to be the ones who didn’t get laid off, but should have.

How can you expect peoples to take this post seriously have you actually been monitoring the moral of every employ y we since NOV first went into business?
Do you think you can scientifically prove that what you splurge is actually true ?
Or wouldnt y ou agree your post is the problem that could have a correlation on people's moral?
