Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Last year of bonuses?

yes it does affect your bonus because part of you bonus is based on profit and when people are stealing that affects the profit of the club. This is the last year of bonuses anyway, with all the large raises and more to come there will be no more bonuses.

Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the last year in which the bonus is paid, because everything is disrupted, but I'm wondering what you guys think?

at the club I work we are so short handed our pm merchandise team only has 2 people. the front end is a hot mess. the ones that show up day after day deserve that bonus plus more . before all you high and mighty people say that's your job we did not sign up to work as 3 or 4 people. I would love to see one person that says that try the merchandise team for a month to see how it truly is or even be a cashier while you have lines because everyone is rushing in to stock up on toilet paper. Sam's /walmart care only about what's going into their pockets screw us little people.

It's already being phased out at Walmart. It's on the wire.

Why dont they crack down on stealing instead of "raising prices" and "taking it out of our bonuses" doesnt that make more sense.

Anyone ever hear of the "We are self insured and accidents are also paid from the bottom line and affects bonuses." This is also true but the company has to have insurance REQUIRED by law. They double dip. They claim the accident and pay as little as they can through insurance and lawyers but pay back the insurance company through each individual clubs. Kind of shady but legal to keep their rates low. Just thought I would let you know.

Large raises??? They only pay a small fraction compared to the better companies for a comparable job. Greed is the major factor. The little they pay their hard working associates is very minor compared to the billions the Walton family makes.

Profit has ZERO to do with the hourly bonus. Profit only affects the manager bonuses.

Any time something that is considered a benefit is removed, there is very little surprise on my part. If this company could get away with it, they'd have all of us paying to work for them.
