JonDon and the leadership team will announce that they have “successfully accomplished our D&I goals” at the senior leadership level. I applaud them for FINALLY getting it right, but where was the moral compass for all those years in the 80s-90s when black men were getting shot over Nike shoes while the all white company banked billions? Glad you found your social responsibility leadership voice now though...

I'm going to call BS on DE&I being improved or aligned with this layoff.
I've seen and heard of PLENTY of fantastic teammates this week, that would be considered to belong in a minority group, including the aforementioned Black male, get laid off.
Plenty of them, that bleed and have bled for the Swoosh and would give the shirt off their back to a teammate.
Please don't spread that nonsense about D&I.
What a ridiculous hot take. No different than folks applying today's morality to centuries old events. As a 30+ year veteran I can assure you that the current D&I movement is the furthest thing from meritocracy...& is the OPPOSITE of what Dr. King fought for. It's interesting that you think that firing more qualified employees simply to ensure "equality" is a positive. It will negatively impact the morale and therefore the effectiveness of the company.
Predictions for FYI21, no PSP and no yearly increments.
Merit based not color based, isn't that what MLK told us? Overwhelming "D&I" is discrimination imo.
How ridiculously you bring the layoff to race?! It's two different things, don't mix them here, go other places.
So tired of such endless whining, just live your life, love your family, polish your real skills.
