You are 100% right. It’s ridiculous. You have excellent people ridiculed for not being visible enough. If your truly working hard who has that much time to focus on constantly being visible? we have poor leaders now. That’s the bottom line.
You will not believe the mileage this is getting within the Fuels Value Chain. People associated with this dumb project will be ranked “excellent” for driving “commercial intensity” and being a “beacon moment”. The PR peon who managed to get the leader air time on TV will be rewarded with “outstanding” in the next ranking cycle. They will put together a PowerPoint deck about this and talk about it like it’s the greatest innovation ever. In reality, it is a shiny object ( and an old one) that will not drive any material results for the company.

You can do it on the app without qr code
QR codes are a step back for Canada. Instead of doing everything on my app before I leave the safety of my car, I have get out, scan, then put my phone back in my car before I start fueling.
