How long after you are laid off is severance paid out? Is it an immediate thing or do we have to wait for a while? I'm trying to get my ducks in a row in case my name is on the list and it'd be nice to know how long I'll have to wait before I can use any of my severance money.

You can never line up your ducks unless they're cooked alright! You wouldn't miss a paycheck after you're let go with severance. Your pay will continue until your severance runs out.
I'd like to know as well
