That could be the reason CR has put his posh property in Pebble Beach and a House in Los Gatos for sale.

Regarding incorporation into Delaware - most of the tech companies are incorporated there . Reason could be tax advantages . The HQ and the incorporation aren’t related . Some companies are even incorporated outside of the US for the same reasons
"Does that mean that Cisco would have to move the "headquarters" from SJC to somewhere in Delaware even if they do keep a lot of workers in SJC? For some reason, I don't see CR moving from CA to DE and giving up the great golf courses in CA for the cold of DE."
In SJC (or San Jose / Santa Clara / Sunnyvale) where Cisco used to have 50 to 60 buildings - I think they have now shutdown half of the buildings already.
And the nearby golf course (Santa Clara Golf Course) was already closed (as of last year).
I drive through there every day and a LOT has changed. Most people commenting here will probably not know, but it is probably already happened, by now.
Seat of company is a legal thing. Chuckie isn’t moving

Has anyone who has stock noticed that the proxy materials sent out that the Board of Directors is recommending that voters approve "the reincorporation of Cisco from California to Delaware"?
