Logic dictates there is a correlation between a management culture of continuously starting the producers and declining productivity.
Unless a work force is treated fairly by management and rewarded for their effort then it is inevitable NOV shall experience a rather sharp decline in productivity.

LOL You young boys think you know it all, you can run a business better, you can make more profit and you can have a company full of loyal employees that you will treat equally....I would love to see how badly you fail, probably won't last 6 months...LOL

IN reality NOV failed years ago and no matter how hard management muddle through from hour to hour day to day week to week month to month from one year to the next nowt will really change

Just received a job offer and I couldn’t be happier to put in my resignation letter. All that’s left in this business is incompetent management, people who didn’t get laid off but should have, and under appreciated loyal workers who will eventually walk away as soon as they can.
How does your comment factor in, OP, share value and market share. Businesses are in the business to make money and you work for a company to make money. Stock holders (owners) put the senior management in place because they like what they are doing. I suggest you do like I me, I was very unhappy so I quit. I’m happy now and you can be too. You are not going to change how large corporation do business buy complaining on this site, they are not listing and your logic is flawed. They don’t need your or care what you think. Walk away and enjoy life.
