How can a person have a higher paying job code for a job they cannot do , just because they are buddies with the team lead? The worst part is that they aren’t even expected to do the job. They just hang out with their buddy all day.

Sam Walton was just as greedy as the Walmart Corporation is today. Read your history.
When Walmart/Sam's had a great leader...Sam Walton...he would not have allowed such treatment. It is true that these places are the worst at this and unfortunately they wreak of reverse racism and discrimination of the elderly. If you can climb to the top and maybe be allowed to change this, do it. If not, find somewhere else to spend your work day. Good luck.
If you think this only happens at Sam's Club, you are mistaken. It happens at every job. Some hide it better than Walmart does.
Managers and Team leads hang out with their special associates every Sam’s club have that!
Of course they can. Our fulfillment lead hired her son's girlfriend, daughters boyfriend and her friends. The inbreeding is out of control in this Utah club.
