The club I’m at is getting a bit out of hand. Tensions are running high due to being overworked, with people stressing out over the lack of hours they’re getting. I have two coworkers who can’t stand each other and yet they’re always scheduled together. It finally came to a head this week with each talking smack. Good thing it didn’t go any further, but I'm not sure it's going to stay that way. Any other clubs see an increase in tension and stress?

Yes . Especially when your expected to close the Cafe by yourself every night while anyone else is to busy or lazy to help in Missouri!! Just ridiculous!!
No fighting, but we are understaffed, overworked, and burned out. The long-term, good, jack-of-all-trades associates are being expected to do EVERYTHING on the floor and back room
They give to much sh– and work you like a freaking robot but don’t get payed enough.
My club has been blessed with with an HMS worker that calls out weekly, a rotisserie worker that doesn't cut up chicken or clean the grease from the cooker, a deli guy that takes off more than he works, if that's what you call it, a meat cutter that leaves if no one is there to help her, a cafe associate that has a way to high opinion of what she actually does and a team lead that will not hold anyone accountable and instead has the backbone of the area shoulder all the work. It is getting harder and harder to go to work under these circumstances. Stressed for sure.
First rule of Sam's Club: don't talk about Fight Club
TONS of stress and anxiety. That's what happens when you are given way too much work to do in an 8 hour shift with only a few people. They don't care.
yes much stress...but not a lot of fighting going on.. everyone is just exasperated and weary... 3 or 4 people just can not do the work of 8...
