Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

How hard is it to make an exception?

Whole Foods Market, the luxury grocery chain owned by Amazon.com Inc., has ignited a storm in normally placid Canada after telling staff there that they can’t wear poppies to commemorate Remembrance Day.

This is what happens when a handful of TMs can't just come to work and leave their politics at the door. Nothing against BLM or veterans but give me a break. Most TMs would have a super meltdown if someone showed up in wearing anything that opposes their political and social justice thoughts. So with that thank you Cambridge TMs...everyone had to give up their remaining bits of individuality because you couldn't go 4 - 8 hours of your day without trying to make a statement in your echo chamber of a store.

First and foremost WFM doesn't care about anything but profit. Anyone they have "helped" is a mutualy beneficial situation. They won't ever stick up for what's right because it could hurt profits. Veterans and BLM are an inconvenience to the global office and nothing more.
