Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Another solid ISC Holiday MM, Let’s all look at all the ISC that is currently online working. Yup it’s been 2hrs I have been pulled into 2 calls

But wait we’re on holiday. MM quote yesterday “we’re going need to need to stop doing everything and choose what’s important to get done”. Welp it’s been 4 months since cost actions and not a thing has changed except congrats on the additional work. Again.....Thank you for the Holiday it’s completely worthless to even indicate it’s a holiday in ISC. ALT should be proud.

Who’s online tomorrow and Friday to cover for Mikey’s scheduled temper tantrum(s)?

Got t close out the MMRs, complete the ACE assessments and revise and finalize the goals for 2020. We will worry about 2021 later in the year once we figure out and put a spin on the headwinds so that blame con be established.

Sivercrest- are you talking about the Tesco supermarket finding out that their burger meat is 29% horse meat and wiping £300b off the books?

Why would you have an ISC calendar and an Aerospace calendar and not have the same designated holidays? Talk about confusing the masses.

It would be easier to have all departments online for a a single day off, LOL.

Throw in the crazy Mexican and HTS holidays and who knows.

Trying to figure out who is out and who is in is pretty hard. Makes planning difficult, but HON is not known for planning things out.

I don't think people understand that nothing changes until a major miss happens.

  • failed to certify an engine or apu in time.
  • loss of a major cashcowprogram (T55)

Aero needs their own Silvercrest experience before they realize they went too far. Until then, continue to cut and , hire students with 3.0 GPA who will be grateful for any job.

Nobody should care about Honeyhell, that is exactly right. Honeyhell is just a corporate machine that extracts money from its workers then discards them once they are of no more use. So then you should also not give a sh–, extract money from them, then leave and find a new job.

An easy cure to burn out is to truly stop giving a $hit. Pretend you're in the ALT and you're never accountable for anything. You just come in, make poor decisions all day, drive home in your Porsche and go home without a care in the world.

Honestly though, who cares? Really. Leadershlt doesn't care, why should you? If you're getting burned out just work your 8, hours then go home with exactly zero f*cks left. What are they going to do, fire you? Yea right because then who is going to get it done? Just stop caring and the burnout fixes itself.

MM talked maybe 3 times about knowing people who are swiming in too much work and mentioned burn out. He said if you are one of these people you need to discuss with your manager and actions need to be taken. He even said he was partly to blame. That's it. No mention of what to do or what would be done. In his leadership role he is supposed to make that decision, provide that guidance on what will be done. All the front line managers are waiting for direction from him. But like all Honeywell Leaders, they keep you in the dark and avoid issues involving employees. If people are swamped with too much work there are only 2 things that can be done 1) add people or 2) take some work away. The chances of either are right at 0%. Likely they believe it is up to the front line workers to figure out how to reduce our own work loads, be creative. You know right after that town hall he was out pushing people as to why things weren't getting done and telling them to go figure it out.

Yep, if they actually acknowledge my service appropriately I wouldn’t be working on Veterans Day on a holiday that they gave me. Stay classy Honeywell Aero.

And Agreed, say one thing on a townhall but act definitely in meetings
