B5 comp for CFO Group/Risk

Anyone know what a typical range is? Looking at Charlotte specifically. VP level.

Is $125-130k possible? That's the market point Wells has for similar roles in Charlotte (senior consultant types of roles).

Also, any target %s for bonuses?

Agree with the previous post - Best advice is to NOT work for BofA - it’s junk. Pure junk.

Part of it depends on which area of CFO/Risk. Some departments will pay more than others (Treasury, example).

For someone coming in at VP level, $85-95k seems low. Typically the bank will start B5 in these areas at AVP. I would expect 110-115 is within range for an external hirer, particularly if you're able to leverage your current salary.

That is extremely high, most coming in from external start at $85-$95, max $100k unless there is something unique about your experience. The bonus is 100% management discretion and is very low at B 5 level ($5k-$10k). They don’t build the bonus pot based on a percent of salary, it’s a percent of what they paid last year so it takes a while to get up to a full bonus because they always lowball you the first year. Merit is now only a 2% pot. Also, if you get a promotion you will start the job right away, but the money won’t come until 6-10 months later when you no longer have the ability to decline the role or negotiate. My advice is, don’t work at BofA, they find a million ways NOT to pay employees more money.
