Anyone know how they constructed the UKI severance package, I’ve been there 18 years and was given 9 months + pilon. Seemed a bit of a random number so was wondering if it’s based on service or the same for everyone.

PILON is based on service length and maxes out at 12 weeks. The other payment offered is also based on base salary and service length, but does not max out in the same way. Read the consultation notes for details.
Based on service, but that maxes out at 12 years. Meant to be 1 weeks pay for every year, so 12 years = 3 months, plus 6 months that everyone gets. Could be different this year though, who knows
