Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Team commission must end.

As a leader in the company below DM so you know I am not on the new system. I am ready to revolt class action law suit like sprint or walk outs on iconic launch or Black Friday who cares. They don’t care about us look out for you and yours. I know leaders in my area from Michell Miller, and Kevin Pierce say it’s so great as they sit from home.

Has anyone seen their retail director in their store location or district? If not, I ask why haven't you called him/her out on it? Why haven't you reached out to them and cc'd their direct manager? "Sincerely" request that their absence in the stores is hurting the store's morale and that you expect to see them on the front line, checking in customers & supporting the front line. If they only show up on iconic sales days or holiday sales events, in the email, tell him/her that it's not enough. They need to be present, and that it's authentic leadership to be on the frontline!

If anyone remembered working back in 2000-2008 era when we had CSRs remember when they had a high hourly and got paid $6,000-8,500 Sti yearly ?basically we are 2020 CSRs that get paid the same as back then CSRs. That’s why I take about 1hr with each customer there is no point on rushing when we have a set comission that is impossible to multiply .

Commission will end. So will corporate retail with exception of a few locations. Keep believing it will last forever.

Prior to covid with the old commission plan 50% of reps fell below making at risk every single month. Most fell into the 500-1000 range. Fast forward to the new team commissions. Those same reps are now averaging a larger commission check as well as more hourly pay. Those same bottom feeder reps are still lazy and do the bare minimum just like the old days. So leadership is not far off stating that reps love the new pay structure. The other 50% not so much. I guarantee that if Verizon did a poll or vote with the reps they would vote to keep team commissions. It would probably be like 55/45. That is the reality of all of this.
