Have even had some great interviews for positions I am qualified for, and keep getting that “after careful consideration we have decided to move forward with other candidates” email.
I have never had trouble getting a new job before.
Anyone else having a similar experience?
Applying internally and getting an interview for positions I’m overqualified for, has been a joke. Externally I’ve never had trouble landing a job and have gotten the rejection email more often then not. Q4 is a bad time to look, Q1 new budgets brings new hires.

I’ve applied for 3 internal jobs, 2 was completely sh– down with no interview or anything. Last one talked to a recruiter then had an interview with 2 CSLs, then rejected a week later (was completely qualified, expected ratings but I also s— at job interviews). Guess I’m just going to keep sitting in limbo

I have mostly been apply outside of Allstate and same thing.
I am not sure if other people are actually getting hired, or if companies are just deciding not to fill the positions right now.
Absolutely. I have had several positions declined that I have been more than qualified for.I have had a better than expected rating for the past 2 years. I’m at a loss as to how I can not even get an interview for a couple of the postings that are in my pay band and that I have tons of experience in.
