Anyone know how common RSUs are?
Grade 11 or 12 in RTP ?
How many are being distributed ?

I got my 1:1 invite from my manager for RSU today
My manager was sitting on the Webletter. Now got them.
Web letters went out last week if you got some.
Waiting to hear if I get any. Not hopeful at this stage.
The data & analytics org is ripe with tribalism. It's great to learn about the caste system.
RSUs are being stolen from engineers by ma na gers and up per level ma fia. If you belong to their trib e you get RSUs, otherwise you don’t.
I have seen very good engineers and tech leads being not given any RSUs for years. Many of them left Cisco.
government should investigate cisco and hold top people accountable. i am indian and i am shocked number of indians in a us company. i have told my vp to diversify for past 3 years but hiring h1b they can hold them like slaves. unless you speak hindi you are out. a sick company and better to get out anyway. scumbags
I received large amount of RSUs for the past a couple of years, but I am let go this time. Cisco is simply cutting cost, hiring H1-B visa workers from India. Look at Cisco org chart, over 90% are Indians, and many groups are 100% Indian. Government needs to investigate into it.
You get dollar amounts now, not shares. So 50K not, 1500 RSUs

Poster is correct. If you did not receive RSUs, then they have no particular interest in retaining you as an employee .
I got RSUs as bonuses every year since 2014 at grade 12. I’ve been getting a vestment every month for the past 2 years. Along with high IPFs. Probably why I got LRd this past round.
My manager in a roundabout way suggested I wait it out until December to see if I can keep my job. I don’t know. I ton of people from my BU got labeled “at risk”, damn near a hundred.
I think if you don’t get RSUs you are a target yet if you do get too many you are also a target. Who knows.
Agree with other poster. If you don’t get them you are expendable.
They are not as common as one would think. Used for the very top performers or to bribe key tech people not to leave. Also to lure people to join the company.
I was a very steady and consistent performer and only got them maybe once every few years.
If you want lots of stock options don’t work at Cisco.
If you didn't get any RSUs, need to find employment elsewhere ASAP. Sorry for giving you the bad news.
