There are some rumours and speculations that there will be big layoffs at the beginning of next year. I have already seen something about this on one of these threads and they say that middle management will be the most affected. Are there any more details how massive the layoffs will be and who will be affected? I don’t like rumours but unfortunately they often come true.

@Yecg+17TqUOlF this happens in my dept, I bet the manager they “hired” recently (moved from another manager position under same senior) goes back when things are closer to normal
I always hear that middle management will get cut and it never happens or is it very small. I have seen first hand how our Division works to save middle management. They will temporarily move people under a middle manager that has less than 8 people reporting to them, in order to save their job. Then when the threat passes, the people are moved back to their rightful manager. Keep in mind that these people being moved are only on paper only. They still report to their old manager and do their old job. I don't understand why GHR doesn't see this!!!
"What do you consider middle management? B3?"
You're crazy to think B3 as middle management. It's more like B5-B4 people who fall into middle management.
Any guess on a date for the first round of cuts?
Low number performers. In my department the managers are really pushing everyone to get their stats up. I think right after the first of the year dead weight will be gone.
Hopefully all of the loan servicing leadership, talk about being in over your head, a person can dream right?
The B3 in my group is insanely insecure, any time anyone questions something that may not be right they are seen as being negative
That made me LOL, B3’s don’t think of themselves as middle management. They are quite full of themselves
I bet a lot of people brought on for the home loan servicing platform change get cut
Every department in play at all levels.
