Well the Aussie sales lead just made VP so IOT must be doing something right.
IOT is just a buzzword that JC invented 8 years ago
Means nothing today as Cisco was just counting router and switches as IOT, but no longer doing that as people sniffed out that it was just BS marketing ploy that failed
IOT sales team is laughing stock within Cisco
Everyone in the field knows that IOT team works part-time taking credit for orders they have nothing to do with
Industrial IoT is one of the few areas of significant revenue growth so of course it makes perfect sense to whack the sales team.
When did the ELT say this??
Finally CR and Gerri making the right decision to cut IOT sales team as just a buzzword that lowers Cisco stock price
IOT sales overlay team will be cut at end of Q2
Field AM's/SE's will own selling until end of FY21
