The Fiserv Information Classification Policy and Data Classification and Handling Standard were both recently revised to make clear that, consistent with Section 7 of the U.S. National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), information or communications about non-supervisory associates' wages, benefits, hours and other terms or conditions of employment are not confidential, and non-supervisory associates are not prohibited from discussing or disclosing such information. The company did not intend to restrict any such information, nor our associates' rights under the NLRA, and any restrictive labeling of such information is not consistent with our policies.
