Pretty sure homeoffice and upper management is working from the comfort of their own home because they want to keep their families safe. They have their zoom meetings and think they have the right to complain when something is "not" perfect at the store. They should be happy these associates are showing up!! And next time they want to roll something out to the stores that will not be effective they should consider actually going to a live store and testing it first!

Considering that all of us have been exposed to this garbage and have not been told when someone that we work with has it shows that this company could care less about us! And guess what we can’t sue them for it because they can say they fired you for ANY REASON real or not!

I'm coming in sick. I cannot afford to lose my job.

Sedgwick is a horrible company. I had bronchitis. Doc said stay home. I did. Doctor's office messed up the paperwork for Sedgwick - twice. Short story, I didn't get approved and got two points, before someone told me what was going on.

Don't count on Sedgwick, especially if you're sick, live alone, and can't do all the leg work Sedgwick requires.

I go to work, even if I'm sick. I can't afford points.

And this is the reason people come to work sick. The company won't accept a doctor's excuse.

And to top it off, our main manager told us the reason they don't accept a doctor's excuse was to be fair to the employees who can't afford to see a doctor.

If you are diagnosed with COVID Sedgewick approves the absences so no points. The callouts at my club don't care about lack of a paycheck as they are either living with a baby momma or living with their own mother.

So the rest of us should just s— it up and bring covid to work, because of people taking advantage of the no point system?

The ones, who called of at our store, found out that if you don't work, you don't get a paycheck. Our call off went way down after the first couple paychecks.

If the same associates didn't abuse the system as they did before, maybe the honest ones wouldn't have to worry about points. And if you have protected PTO use that, that's what it's for. Maybe you are one of the one's that take advantage of the situation and that's why you are complaining.

I too have noticed this hypocrisy ..every day you here stay home if you are sick ....but if you do you will get fired. If Walmart really believed the pandemic is real it would not have put the points back in place. I dont want people to die but just as soon as an associate dies from covid because they were afraid to stay home I hope their family sues for millions of dollars and wins.

Doesn't matter if approved or not. If you have to stay home...do it! Held accountable...my a**! Who do they think they are?
