Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

The marketplace for content much of it free is completely oversaturated

There aren't enough hours in the day to absorb a sliver of all the stuff that is out there. And now you have many people tuning out all forms of media and content due to all the agendas. Another spot on call by the Board, CEO, and COO. Maybe they will purchase a toy company for $50B of the verge of bringing us a digital version Yo Yo's, Pogo Sticks, Jacks, and Marbles. You know simpler times during a long pandemic.

Agree, there's lots of content out there, and more importantly the demographics and viewing habits are going through a significant but
gradual change the days of scheduled programming becoming a relic of the past (minus sports) and on demand streaming is what's needed . T has a good content and licensing power with Warner properties but it doesn't guarantee anything into the future.

Consumers are going to have subscription fatigue soon and one or two k–ler shows like GoT probably won't keep people paying $40/month with netflix is $12 and just as novel content.

Totally agree - I have netflix, hulu, disney +, apple tv, hbomax and directv

the problem is good content - Ted Lasso is such a breath of fresh air!!!!

you can only watch so many murders, rapes and child kidnappings which seems to be the only idea the media companies can come up with

Why dont we combine all services att offers into one package that Verizon and t mobile cannot come close to competing against. We have wireless, direct tv,hbo max, internet services we can provide all in one .
