Wow, thanks for laying off and cutting insurance during a pandemic AND the holidays, all while the company increases dividend how much more scummy and heartless can you be? So much for taking care of your people. You give to charity yet put people out of work to increase the bottom line? Karma will come for you
insurance ends today
Did they provide health insurance as a part of the severance package?
Used to be a great company
Thanks for those who have provided some of the severance package details. Nobody wants to see anybody lose their job, at anytime of year, much less during the holiday season. In my experience, all of the people I have worked with that have moved on from Crown have landed great jobs, so stay positive!!!
They ran through the separation package, it was actually very generous. Something like 8 weeks of pay plus 1 week per year of employment plus 50% of your bonus, no RSU. PTO payout of up to 120 hours. They touched on it quickly so that may not be exact but it's close.
I’m curious as to what the separation package looks like. Right now I’m scared to buy Christmas because I don’t know who Crown will layoff next.
my husband got laid off after 11 with cc...
thanks for nothing...

People asking about titles - they said they cut 30% of VPs and Directors and only 16% of level 6 and below.
They just confirmed it was over 250 full time employees, over 400 people including contractors.
Why are people coming through and voting down everything, pretending like it's not happening. What a joke.
Network side - all divisions and titles from entry level through VP. It seems like most teams, if not all lost a significant amount of people. They haven't officially told everyone yet but as soon as people were notified this morning everyone's phones blew up.
What divisions? Titles? Where? I am a former employee working for a telco's that's hiring. It's amazing that just a few years ago CC was the one of the hottest companies out there.
My heart goes out to everyone that lost their jobs today.
I'm so sorry for all of you who lost your jobs. It truly is heartbreaking.
Confirmed.. I was let go this morning. SC-T
Heartbroken
I am one of the '200'. Managers on the separation call said that I am part of a large scale RIF. They mentioned it affects all levels from VP's to Directors and on down.
Correct, that all hands was moved because of this.
Most of CC’s job opportunities are for “ Digital Transformation” which is probably the reason they layoffs are occurring. Millions wasted due to shockingly bad leadership.
Where are all of the AMT & SBAC layoffs??? Oh wait, there aren't any because they apparently know how to operate and scale their business properly. Check out the differences in the "job opportunities" among the three companies. CC seems to be the only one that creates positions that do not clearly add value. Drive your own development...to another company.
Such a shame. Best of wishes to those getting laid off, week before Thanksgiving, just brutal. Crown used to be different...
I don't want to say which silo but there will be a town hall meeting sent out for the early afternoon and the COO of the impacted silo will say their peace as they do. If you don't get a meeting invite then it's not the one you're in. The people being laid off will be notified first thing in the morning, prior to the call invite going out.
Rumor has it all on the network side. 200+.
Tower or network?
you can down vote it all you want, just wait and see, it's only one day
I hope this isn’t the reason the all hands call was cancelled this week.
