How many employees were there in US at the time of merger and how many are there now

Happy to say I moved on when we merged with First Data. I wouldn't work for First Data if you held a gun to my head and have actively avoided ever applying there no matter how lucrative the potential position sounded. Once they merged I knew it was going to k–l the remaining culture and I couldn't get out fast enough. There's OFD guys on here that try to talk big like they "run the show" but the true answer is, no one runs any show. All of Fiserv and First Data is a circus of disjointed silos that are thinly pieced together with SSO's and weak leadership. Top talent gets tired of the red tape and run around and leaves like rats on a sinking ship. Good luck in the future to the people trying to stick it out.
There was right around 50,000 employees, and now there is about 42-43k employees remain. Right around 7k employees were let go or moved on.
