Shifts started opening up for Friday after Thanksgiving Day. At least it's not a midnight opening.

Our store manager was walking around today saying that she only has five days to get "volunteers" to signup for the Thanksgiving shifts and tried to get everyone working to agree to work. We are still doing fulfillment and curbside pick-up, so while the store won't be open for regular shopping we won't exactly be giving everyone the day off. She seemed pretty stressed since almost no one was willing to give dinner with their families for time and a half.
Big Ticket?
Black Friday hours are 5am - midnight local time. All colleagues and people leaders will be scheduled that day.
Sounds about right. Before the Thanksgiving openings we used to open at 5:00 am with lines around the store.
Plenty of time to change that.
