What are your thoughts on the GSC call?

As a former GSCer, Environmental, really enjoyed my work and my career. Fortunate to have been of retirement age when PIP hit. Given me the time to enjoy life.
If you are unhappy where you are, make a change. If not, stick it out. Pretty simple.
Anyway, thankful for my time at EM. I hope it gets better soon.

It's amazing to me that EMIT can't set up a call that actually works. I could never get in and I know of dozens of others with the same issues. No wonder EMIT will all be working for an MSP soon.
The call was a waste of time
GSC? Is that paychecks and IT and whatnot? Facilities?
I can see having a separate meeting for those ones.
But where is the Tell Me Anything meeting for the Leadership Team?
Does that really exist?

The response to the benefits was eye opening. Basically benefits cuts are being viewed as part of the annual review cycle and not as part of a short term fix. So the 401k match is no longer seen as needed to be competitive which means it isn’t coming back.
These forums should not be happening company by company. Where is Darren Woods. The CEO of the entire corp should be out front and in our faces addressing our concerns. Darren is either a coward or on his way out.
Can anyone share what they answered for some of the questions? Was unable to attend.
Interesting question in Sli.do about the difference between Chevron and EM, in the manner they handled job cuts. Otherwise, what did you really expect? The leaders in any organisation (and particularly at EM) are selected depending on their ability to convey the message from the top brass...
My time was better spent reading these responses.
The call was the same corporate BS that you would expect. They are not treating employees with dignity and more layoffs are coming in the coming weeks and months. The reviews are just ending.
