If you have been pushed under the train in your ranking and you find yourself in PiP.
You should go and leave reviews and feedbacks about how great Exxon is In LinkedIn, Glassdoor , google, etc.
People need to know, they are laying off the smartest people and keeping the poppets with zero skills.

The marketplace is already rewarding XOM's "stellar" management skills, risk assessments and company plans. I'd encourage former insiders to publicly broadcast the incompetence of the current middle/senior management team (mostly Canadian & UK) and their flawed systems so shareholders, institutional investors and potential new hires are not deceived. This management outfit would like to take a once fine company down the same path that BP took (remember Texas City, Macondo) with lies, arrogance and pride beyond belief. Its simply a matter of time before XOM has its next Valdez. So much for OIMS - we see this system repeatedly discarded to accommodate an arrogant manager who thought he/she knew better. The disaster which ensured unfortunately did not change their behavior; they simply found someone to blame (i.e. lies) and got promoted.

You've been able to keep your head low for 30+ years, but since the arbitrary system didn't work in your favor this time, now you're telling young people to question their future with the company...the same company to drove to for over 30 years. 30+ years, always ranked in the middle, this year i got no negative feedback during the cycle and when ranking was delivered I was NSI.
Young people, it doesn't matter what you do at XOM, the ranking system is a popularity contest and completely arbitrary and politicized. Think hard about your future here.

That is so true. I saw my ranking decimated without my supervisor giving me any reasons. It appeared it was a deliberate setup to bring some people down and protect the favourites. The ranking process completely lacked transparency. My being part of visible minority may me another reason for this despicable treatment. Exxon always touts talks about diversity and inclusion but at this time they are picking on people of color. I am going to say that I am extremely disappointed with the management.
