Deloitte is the consultant working on the rif they call “Project Finance Transformation”. CVS is paying them over 20 million for this project. The same consultants were hired to lay-off the Omnicare and Aetna employees after those acquisitions. Mostly Finance and IT in R.I. and Hartford. Also several calls last week about the Finance Building being closed and leased out.

Anything more recent on this? I’ve heard of reorgs but no layoff yet in those areas.
Is this a reason I may have been terminated? I received a email asking about a “possible HIPPA violation ? Never happened and showed to work today just to be told I was terminated?
If this is true, it shouldn't come as a surprise. CVS had a heavy debt load after acquiring Aetna. They have to reduce costs.
