Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Allstate doesn't put employees in good hands

So, LDU, only hand full of employees in our office. Interesting, how my numbers are better than 1/2 of who they kept. Sounds a little fishy. Also, how the hell are you still giving me new claims and say, I'm still an employee. You really think anyone is going to argue over 10%. Your expectations is we are supposed to give the same effort as my counter part that still has a job. They are putting themselves in a very interesting situation, saying your still an employee. Really?? Am I? Then you have to wait 60 days to get severance. What is that? Sounds like to me Allstate is in a lot of financial trouble.

Not only that but people who weren’t laid off are quitting. We lost 5 adjusters in two weeks. The people that got to stay are saying no thank you.

I’m in LDU and I’m with you on that. I am an employee who has consistently went above and beyond. I’ve won awards. I’ve been asked repeatedly to go into leadership. I’ve been told of my potential outside of LDU. Andddd yet I was laid off. They kept underperforming adjusters on UNs. They kept employees who just came to Allstate the beginning of this year. I’m still getting claims too. No word on when they stop. But I can tell you that I do the absolute bare minimum to not get fired. My metrics have tanked. I am nice to my customers, but that’s it. I miss meetings. I don’t thoroughly investigate and I’m certainly not arguing over 10% lmao. I’ve been asked to apply for other positions within Allstate and all I can do is laugh. You mean to tell me after all the hard work I’ve put into this company, I’m told I’m not valued over some of my coworkers who -to be blunt- S— but you want me to go to another position? Nope. Only a few more weeks. Allstate can kiss my a–. I will be glad to watch this company ship sink. It’s only a matter of time.

Dont stress...for your next 60 days, do bare minimum...keep low radar for the sake of severance...I mean, if your years of senority are worth it.

Allstate and insurance adjusting in general is a dead-end job. Getting claims on the weekend and getting held responsible for the TIMED resolution of them? Customer surveys ???!?!? Don’t be brainwashed. Leave the insurance industry

LDU is in trouble, Lat Tool is a waste of time. FNOL s—s. Survey falls in claim owner which I totally unfair and not even fair. When you get a 1 on a survey and you haven't even gotten into work yet. You don't get a bonus if your under 90? Wonder if anyone did get a bonus under 90. Please let me know. I was 89% like really!!!
