Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

AT&T shares have declined 27% so far this year as the S&P 500 (SPX) has added 3.6%.

Just about says all that needs to be said.

Seems like this ship started to sink right about the time we heard "This conversation starts with me". Once we started to focus our priorities on non-business related actions and switched over to feelings then "Down Goes Frazier".

How the hell can the powers that be, justify paying the mo–ns in the C-Suite, the exorbitant salaries, for their piss-poor performance? Something just really stinks (pun intended), about the whole deal.

Read the WSJ story today. Makes T and it's leadership sound truly pathetic. How much longer can "but the dividend.." prop things up around here, honestly?

But that 7.25% dividend is GREAT! Ratty has no worries that the stock lost 27% as he still gets his $1M quarterly dividend for free!
