I don’t. I quit! I have no idea why anyone would stay. Talk about being on a sinking ship. It’s SO obvious this place is headed in the wrong direction......

I don’t work here. I do get paid pretty regularly.
Once a month I write some code, usually on a Wednesday, between two and four in the afternoon.
Sometimes I present at meetings. Usually those meetings are about how my projects get done three times faster than average. Hint.. Honeywell hasn’t done anything new in decades.
The secret to working fast is to avoid doing anything new.

Those of us that still work at Honeywell have various reasons to remain and it's a personal choice for each of us. A very large percentage of us have financial obligations to support our families and for that is my number one priority.

I'm an Aero engineer and there are tens of thousands of folks out of work right now that can do my job. There are no jobs available at this time for what I do in the city I live in and moving is not an option due to my spouse's job. That's why I still work here.

I don't still work here. I got out years ago. I just come here for the nostalgia of seeing all the complaints that this third rate company richly deserves. Honeywell's biggest product? Ex-employees. The company continues to shrink in size every year, at least here in the US where they began. They can no longer be considered a US company, the way they treat their American employees.

Money, plain and simple. I am making better money here at Honeywell then i have at any point in my life. Add in decent health care coverage and 3 weeks vacation, another week of personal time. I would be stupid to leave.
