Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Always Posting Negatives (Sorry)

feel like I'm always posting the worst news but I reviewed a leadership deck today for 2021 benefits. its going to be a very difficult pill for many to swallow (sorry for the healthcare pun). main benefits cost will be raised by between 30-50% per pay. choices are being reduced for providers and plans, one national provider, 3 national plans and in some regions 1 alternate provider. ESPP discount is not returning at least next year but it seems like a permanent change. 401K is not returning at least to start 2021, maybe it will come back mid next year but don't count on that. Many other changes, all for the worst unfortunately but because of covid we can't expect things to get better.

This is totally true. the new benefits came out and are a joke. If you work for fiserv in benefits, i would have to think you literally like screwing your fellow colleagues. Fiserv has the WORST benefits in the industry, maybe one of the worst in the globe, and now its only gotten worse. Shame on anyone who works in benefits and calls them selves a decent person.

I do not think redistribution of wealth and so called social justice is fair. When you attempt to make it fair for one it has become unfair for someone else.

Spouse received a physical letter today stating that in January they are getting a 'one-time financial award' to offset the increased costs of health benefits for 2021...something something...award is approx. 50% of increase. So, the annual costs will be increasing by over a grand in our case, and health benefits costs are now calculated based on compensation level. Didn't mention anything about changes to coverage levels.

Also heard that 401K match may be coming back at 2% and stock purchase discount benefit at 5%. Not sure when those will actually be reinstated.

Starting to think you all are full of Sh!t or getting bad information. none of the benefit changes above are true.

Stop spreading fake info and if you hate it so much, leave. No one is chaining you to your Fiserv desk.

@1but+17iIbOSu rate things are going, there will be no need - I mean, what is a 15% discount on penny stock going to get you?

Ulterior motives - fine, but JUST A JERK shows real corporate concern. If you are really with HR, then your skill set is horrid - but then again probably a First Data graduate.

Hmm do I believe the self identified HR shill? Not at all, I believe the original poster, benefits cuts are on the way. At least we have confirmation that HR trolls the message board and is posting all the pro-FB BS.

The post is a complete lie. I should know I work in Benefits at Fiserv. We are finalizing our harmonization of the two companies benefit plans and ensuring in the fairest way that all associates in the same income brackets pay the same premiums and we will fully implement the philosophy that if you earn more you pay more so our associates who earn less have more affordable premiums. This is an honorable philosophy. Yes this results in an equal number of people who will have premium Reductions as will have increase and if you have an increase you will get a one-time cash award to help you ease into the increase. You couldn’t ask for more than that from any company. As for 401k and ESPP it will be back on 1/1/21. Why would someone blatantly lie and grossly misrepresent the truth as mentioned above?? Ulterior motives or just a jerk?
