Worst kept secret in the company - putting someone close to retirement in an “advisor” role, taking away their work, basically creating a role that dooms them to be uncompetitive in the ranking. Share your stories of where you’ve seen this used.

True. An advisor was wrongly labeled as NSI despite her hardwork supporting the business. The business team was so $crewed that they repeatedly failed to upgrade the products. Product Manager was incompetent and not able to digest the landscape.
