Surprise, surprise, we’ve got another slap on a wrist from the media. I’ve just read an article about XOM’s leaked plans on increasing annual carbon-dioxide emission. Seems to me this news got more attention than all the news about thousands of people losing their jobs because of the difficult situation in this sector.
Makes me wonder, how is it possible that the media is always keen to cheer for a trendy green technology, but never worries about if it can create new jobs fast enough for the people who are getting laid off because of making those shifts?!

Huh? That's like saying people want coal miners to lose their job. No that's not true, the market wants green energy and are willing to pay a higher price for it so it's the industry job to supply it.
