Perfect karma is a b–ch cant think of a better way for directv to get revenge wish it cost att more
What AT&T did by acquiring DTV is criminal - investigate and punish. Stankey and Randall should end up in jail.
Do I detect an issue here?
You won't hear about it on CNN.
buy high and sell low - att's philosophy hey but rand is taken care of with 200000 a month and that is the most important item.
I realize it's the New York Post - but this story does have a ring of desperate truth nonetheless.
If the auction doesn't work out - there at least will still be Craigslist or Nextdoor Marketplace.
at@t does not do one thing right. It has survived so long becuse for the first part of it's existance they had a monopoly. Then, when the iPhone came out, they had the exclusive (the one good deal they have ever made). And evry bad deal is remedied by layinf off workers.
Bunch of execs sitting around the conference room table saying, "Hey, its a subscription service, we know how to manage a subscription service!"
Yeah, right
“People want to spin this as cord-cutting, but AT&T just decided it didn’t like the business anymore.”
This is the kind of thing that gets you sued by investors, I'd think.
Also, too, remember when Stanky said he thought subscriber loss had leveled off?
Malfeasance and incompetence all around.
$67B......$16B
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? OMG!!!!
This is ridiculous! We paid 49b plus assumed 18b in debt and DTV is fetching maybe 16b 5 years later. The f@#ing id–ts who signed off on this deal, one of them is running the company now and the other is sitting on his a– collecting 273k a month due to your hard work. Where is the outrage. We as employees should be protesting for the removal of these piece of sits along with all them board of directors. We need to stand up!
a deal that also including the assumption of $18 billion in debt? ARE YOU CRAZY?..LOL
