Come on. The hype of working for Nike is different than the reality. All your friends outside the berm imagine it’s all amazing and fantastic. A nonstop half court flying dunk by Jordan.
The reality is that it’s a marketing company who makes shoes. The politics are sharp and thick. A–holes abound. Manage up or be prepared to be walked anytime. No matter how valuable you are, some frat boy manager would like to see you fired because he’s threatened.
Welcome to the global corporate world. Get your knee pads or knives out. It’s the same but different everywhere.
