Doesn't everyone realize that these "retirees" have all just been laid off exactly like those who will go today? PERIOD end of story. Cisco gets their bottom line reductions one way or the other. You self-select a package or we give you one. Same old, same old for the last 10 years. Don't get all weepy about it now. Spent enough years there on the side of the desk making the cuts to know this is a regular practice since Randy Pond initiated the non-bottom 10% cuts back in the day.
