Stankey was corporate strategy for years and is primarily responsible for the state of the company including the culture and environment. Not a people person could care less what others think of him because he is always the smartest guy in the room

Elliot only sold one portion of there original investment. Go look at the original investment and how much they sold. The stick did not take a 99% drop. Elliot sold about 10% of there original purchase.

Stay informed.

John Stankey took over the reins at AT&T on July 1, 2020, and the stock price has continued to decline, even with a dividend yield in excess of 7.00 percent.

Mr. Stankey and his management team, in over three months, have not put together a future vision for the company, and, as a consequence, have not received shareholder support.

Because of this, some analysts are beginning to question the ability of Mr. Stankey and the company to maintain the very cushy dividend payment.

John Stankey became the CEO of AT&T (NYSE: T) on July1, 2020. The price of a share of AT&T stock was $29.90. Note that AT&T had closed at $38.18 on March 4, before the stock market drop in March. Even Elliot could not make money on this loser.

Elliot sold his investment months ago. He has no voice at AT&T now.

Elliott stepped in when it was apparent that Stankey was to be the next CEO. He has no confidence in him, but will use his leverage over him to chop att up. Then, his board of directors will show Stankey the door.

Do some research into other companies Elliott gets involved with. It usually does not end well for the CEO. ( though they all still leave with loads of money).

Not happening soon. Singer clearly made his case against Stankey. And I am sure if Singer stays invested, Stankey will be gone one two or three years. He has had a good success rate of knocking off CEOs when he wants to.

I don’t think so. There is no replacement on the horizon. The BOD will approve a $25 million compensation package this year for Stankey with plenty of perks and zero cost stock awards!!

The c-suite lives in a bubble and have no idea how regular people struggle to make ends meet!!

They don’t even pay their own bills because everything is given to them. Cars, Insurance, Healthcare, TV and Telephone, Home Security, Air Travel, etc.

They crash the company while getting a free ride!!
