LR option- StepOut Transition leave (STL)

How does this work if we already have offer within Cisco ? Do i still need to pick a date Oct30 or Nov 23 ? Or just done sign and transition as its done regularly?

You will be offered a 30 days pay-in-lieu, and 2 months of Monthly Base Salary.

In addition to this amount, you may receive Years of Service Pay if you have 10 or more completed years of service at Cisco.

From your perspective, take the early date. You get paid until 11/23 either way due to the advance 45 day notice law. They save from not paying your health benefits for the month of November.

They try to give you enough incentive to choose one of the top option. The other is simply the standard layoff package.

If you already have a new job offer in Cisco, just ignore or decline this step out option.
