Most LR posts on here seem to be from mostly technical and IT folks- which teams in the rest of the company were impacted (sales, marketing etc.)? Did your LR reflect what others are saying on here (6 months salary and COBRA?). Might give more insight on where things are headed generally for the company.

Any TMEs got LRed?

Sorry to hear that. Which country?
Any TMEs got LRed?
I am a in virtual role as a sales specialist and was laid off today. Others have also been laid off in my team.
Field sales and virtual were cut big time. Commercial had huge cuts enterprise had medium cuts. Overlay TSA and PSS teams were also cut big time. They are eliminating a commercial segment and merging with the other two. Virtual sales had big cuts as well. Sales big cuts, engineering big cuts, tac big cuts. Chuck is k–ling cisco very well.
Signs of the end. When you cut the sales pipeline, you are k–ling your blood supply.
This will take months to become visible. Revenue will fall drastically, which will lead to further reductions. Worse potential customers will pull back, accelerating the end.
Good luck.
Sales guys can’t work out how to post on this site.
IOT Overlay Sales got hit by the Director from Australia and all his buddies that moved to SJ on Cisco dime and get paid for putting their names on orders for doing nothing
Finance here in one of the few profitable divisions at Cisco. Half our Finance team just got their options (everyone is taking the 6 months).
Which sales roles were affected? Field vs. virtual?
People from people & communities (HR) were also impacted.
To the guy who posted the first two comments was this in commercial?
Partner engineers can handle it right? Right???
Sales, Sales engineers, and TSA's were decimated. Tons of great people lost who work on big accounts and major deals. This alone will cost cisco 100x what it saved in salary.
Very stupid decisions by cisco being made. Chuck very much worst CEO of all companies.
Sales and sales engineers where heavily impacted. We are racing to help find this spots inside and outside the company.
The biggest fear now is we let go some amazing people who are going to the competition, with more money and will k–l active deal we have to them. It’s a disaster on a scale that is hard to believe.
Again the top 1 percent destroyed it for everyone without real thoughts.
