Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

I had a great career at T, even though the last 10 years were bad, and the last 5 absolutely horrid

I feel bad for the next generation, how are these kids going to have a decent life and career, and I don’t just mean at T?

It's not that difficult, you find a career that brings you a level of joy and satisfaction. Contrary to belief, AT&T is not the only job out there. My advice to the younger generation is find a job where you are valued, respected, and held in high esteem as an asset and not just another random number on the chopping block. People often feel trapped at a job and that's a real misfortune. Keep your skill set up to date and your resume current and go for a job that's suited for you.
