Nike hasn't come out with any blockbuster shoes in last 3 years.
Nike's ascend was based on coming out with can't miss styles.
Not sure if cutting shoes innovation department is good idea although
their performance some how warrants it.

I heard the entire footwear dept is being replaced.
Don’t ever trust an email that says “out if scope” definitely not safe. S left this week, unclear if there is a plan for everyone else. Only advice was “keep working” will let you know by Oct/Nov....need some EAP?
Well I have a neighbor in Footwear Innovation who is fairly "high up" who has now "taken time to be with his family". I'm assuming the other shoe will drop soon in that Division. Just tossed it out there for others to comment.
Going to be gutted by 60% by end of week from what I heard. I have friends in HR, and they told me someone upstairs has an axe to grind due to a lack of productivity.
They will all be let know by Friday this week.
Just kidding. Nobody knows anything and most of this forum is just damn gossip so give it a rest before Adidas peeps show up spooking people for no reason!
