John Chambers always made a big deal about only taking $1 in salary, but behind this facade he was making millions in stock sales.
Hah. We paid him millions per year for him to use his own plane.
When will you anonymize this chat and Q&A so you can see the real sentiment here?
How do you (ELT) sleep at night-throwing us out the door then threating rescinding of package if we don't follow the COBC? Code of business conduct should apply to ALL, not just for legal reasons, but for moral. And, by the way F, laughing at us while you put us on the chopping block, real Class Act.
Take a look at the latest restricted stock awards the ELT got. They make their money on stock not salary.

Is the ELT required to sign and practice the COBC, or is that just for the masses?
When will you announce you are moving ASP sales into the region into another exec and that PM will be moving on from CSCO to spend more time with his family?
$80M not bad, gotta love socialism.
Between Chuck, Kelly, David, Maria, Gerri they earn $80m, if they for 1 year took a normal salary that would have 1000 jobs for 12 months. Cisco employees are making sacrifices but are the execs?
What would you say it is you do here?
In the spirit of inclusion and diversity, will anyone from ELT be LR'd?
Did any of the ELT members take any pay cut to help prevent job loss?
To answer "And what's happened to that Jan 4 exit date that was mentioned originally?" That will be phase two. Notice date will be Dec. 2 with an exit date of Jan. 4. No options, just 'here's your lesser package and your job has been terminated'.

What’s so funny?
Or has she stopped laughing about people losing their jobs?
Who many pair of shoes do you own?
how many more h1b loopholes will you try an exploit before the next big layoff?
Difference between Nov 23 and Oct 30 exit dates in layman terms. That thick package is more like for lawyers to look over. And what's happened to that Jan 4 exit date that was mentioned originally?
When are you going to resign?
Sorry. more than 20 words.
We have been hearing that the employees who are notified will have an option to take the package immediately and leave. Today, we learned that there are only two exit dates even if we sign the agreement immediately. It's nearly 4 weeks of timeframe (if we make 10/30 as an exit date) that the company is asking those impacted to stay and do the normal work. THIS WILL CREATE ABSOLUTE EMOTIONAL DAMAGE to many impacted individuals. And you can't expect most of impacted people to work normally. The design of notifying individuals with 45 days prior to the 11/23 exit date is first to give "enough" notice which would be compliant to many states' mass layoff laws, and for the impacted to look for opportunities immediately. I really hope the employees would need to have a choice to "leave" immediately with the package. Not giving that option - it's non-empathy and morality issue.
Would ELT consider providing immediate leave option with the package?
When will the execs be offshored to India?
