They actually always refer to themselves as leadership in all memos. What a culture of arrogance.

Ignorance, combined with arrogance and incompetence. There you have it.
Frankly the reason everything they touch turns to c-ap is because of the culture at AT&T. I have been a few places during my consulting career And never seen a culture like this. Each level expects the level below them to tell them how smart they are and how great they are. By the time this reaches the c level these people think they are the most important business leaders ever. No on tells them no and they constantly hear how smart they are. Everyone is afraid to say what is really going on and those that do are weeded out, either by Being identified in culture/enps surveys, or their manager witnessing it first hand and Then managing them out in the next surplus. It has ended up as a big echo Chamber and thus begins a viscous cycle where everything they do is said to be brilliant and then they get slapped in the face by reality when senior leaders have no idea about that bUsiness and they can’t manage it
Instead in investing in what they do well they tried to invest in different markets.

How about stop reinventing the wheel? Maybe Stinky just needs to take a step back and look at how this really works. Build and maintain an awesome and FAST network ( because we are capable of doing it) get this network out to ALL ( whether it’s wireless via 5G or fiber to the prem/home ... yes I dare say it FIBER TO THE HOME) forget about satellite forget about copper just focus and getting the best darn fiber and wireless network out there and Stinky can sell whatever the heck he wants through the network and the masses will gobble it up. He’s so darn focused on being what? Movie director ? Media mogul ?? When he has the tools he needs to get the job done . Blow the competition out of the water by utilizing the tools he has and yup T will take a hit on getting ‘er done, but honestly no matter what ever media Stinky tries to sell if there isn’t a bad a** network at T fir customers then you can forget about it.
