Small and big? I lost count.

Its never been about that at Nike. Every re-org I went through before leaving was about one or more of the following:
1) Political hit jobs
2) Rooting out deadwood and older employees
3) Layoff/bribing employees who filed ethics complaints against management with a severance
4) Burying failing projects run by "future leaders" so they can stay and move up the chain
Depressing huh? The biggest problem with people who still work at Nike is their ego. They think its someplace special that gives a **** about them. That day passed at least a decade ago folks. Treat it like any other employer. You own your career.
Lots of managers and directors got to abandon loser projects, call it a win, and move on to a new team who doesn’t know they are toxic yet.
This is the way.
Achievement: higher share holder valuep
And did any of them actually achieve anything long-term?
